February Artist Uncorked featuring Jeremy DeVries

Our featured artist for the month of February is Jeremy DeVries.

Born in rural Wisconsin, Jeremy was inspired and encouraged to explore the globe by his long time art teacher and now friend, Dave Austin. Having lived and traveled throughout the United States and Europe, while also obtaining a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, Jeremy has honed his skills as an artist.

After nearly a decade of working to represent arts schools in the Pacific Northwest and Midwest, he now enjoys life behind the lens where he seeks to capture the intricacies of nature and light, which invite him to explore the everyday from interesting perspectives.

Currently, Jeremy serves as Director of Operations at Finding Simplicity Farm, where he and his family of five are working to establish a unique small farm setting for those pursuing the simple life. As owner of Psalm 23 Photography, he and his wife have been collaborating on a special project that documents their journey and life on a farm.

Happily married to Laura for nearly 14 years, Jeremy continues to find encouragement and inspiration to further explore the wonders of photography. Their three children provide plenty of opportunity to practice the art of capturing movement! Together, they enjoy bike rides, kayaking, camping, and exploring the wild woods both near + far.
