Barb Bellmer, a local artist from Rush Lake, will be displaying a collection of her carved gourds, as well as a few paintings in the wine cellar.

Barb’s fascination with gourds (nature’s pottery) began when she took a weekend class at Washington Island in Door County. Since then she is constantly looking for “new canvas”, this medium totally enthralled her with the individuality and uniqueness of each piece as well as its ability to be so versatile. Barb became immersed in the whole process – from growing the gourd to creating fine art from it.

Stop by the winery, wander through the wine cellar with a glass of wine and admire Barb’s beautiful pieces.  She will be available to answer any questions you may have about her artwork.  Some pieces will be available to purchase.
