Located on the Prellwitz family farm in Ripon, Wisconsin, Vines & Rushes is a winery built around a simple idea — great wine, good food, and a place worth gathering. We grow cold-hardy Wisconsin grapes, fire Neapolitan pizzas in a wood-burning brick oven, and host live music and events throughout the year. OUR STORY
Vines & Rushes Winery is a winery located on the Prellwitz family farm in Ripon, Wisconsin - also the home of the Prellwitz Produce strawberry farm. Our winemaking facility and tasting room is located on the farm and we encourage you to come visit the tasting room and try our wines.
Our focus is on cold hardy grape varieties capable of surviving Wisconsin's frigid winters. Our wines are an expression of the soil, climate, farming and winemaking practices that provide a sense of place to each wine. You'll taste our commitment to a quality, Wisconsin grown wine with every sip.
WOOD FIRED BRICK OVEN PIZZA
We serve traditional Neapolitan style pizza (the original pizza style from Naples, Italy) here at Vines and Rushes!
This oven is HOT! We cook our pizzas at around 850° with a bake time of around 90 seconds. Our dough and sauces are made in-house and we feature many ingredients grown by local farms and cheeses made in local creameries.
Our pizza menu consists of traditional Margherita, build your own, as well as weekly speciality pizzas. For our build your own pizzas, sauce choices include: red sauce, bbq, white sauce and pesto. You also have your choice of regular pizza cheese or fresh mozzarella. Gluten free crusts are available by request. We also offer side and group salads.

A fun destination for yummy food, really good wine, righteous vibes, fun people and a cool space for hanging out, playing games, hearing groovy music and having a great time with friends. The sample room has a cozy fireplace and comfy furniture. The main room has a panoramic view of the vineyard. It's on our list every time we visit Ripon.
My wife and I have been to wineries all over Wisconsin, and Vines & Rushes is our favorite.
The pizza is the best in the area, the staff are amazing and thoughtful, the wine is good for being a cold region varietal and it's extremely kid friendly. Great outdoor space for energetic humans.
What a GREAT place to randomly find! We know nothing about wine but we love pizza — and this pizza was incredible. Jan led our wine tasting and made us feel like it was all about us. Chuck shared the winery's history and made us feel so welcome. When we got in the car to leave, I told my husband, maybe we should move here.
This place is pretty great! The wife and I each got a glass of wine and sat on a couch by the fireplace. So many selections of wine — very good too. The pizza is also great! There was a great band out there too. Vines and Rushes is just all around great!
Absolutely love this place. The wine is fantastic and the wood-fired pizza is some of the best I've had. Such a unique spot in Ripon — we'll definitely be back!
Came for a birthday and the staff went above and beyond. The tasting room has such a warm, cozy atmosphere. The Marquette was outstanding — highly recommend.
A hidden gem in Wisconsin. The farm setting is beautiful, the wines are genuinely good, and the pizza is incredible. We drive over an hour to come here and it's always worth it.
The Cause of the Mondays event is such a brilliant idea — great wine for a great cause. The staff are always so welcoming and knowledgeable. This is our go-to spot.
We've been wine club members for two years and it keeps getting better. The seasonal releases are always exciting and the member events are a highlight of our year.
Hosted our bachelorette party here and it was absolutely perfect. The private event team was incredibly helpful in planning. Everyone was raving about the wine and pizza all night.
