Our May Artist Uncorked for the month of May is Pat Bishop

Pat Baum Bishop is a Wisconsin-based fiber and mixed media artist whose work blends textiles, watercolor, and acrylic painting with an expressive, nature-inspired style. Working from her home studio overlooking a small lake in Shawano County, Pat creates both abstract and semi-representational pieces influenced by the beauty of the natural world, weathered buildings, and disappearing family farms.

Largely self-taught, Pat has spent more than 15 years developing her artistic voice through experimentation, dedication, and a passion for creating. Her award-winning artwork has been exhibited internationally, featured in magazines and galleries, and recognized through organizations such as the International Quilt Festival and Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA), where she is a Juried Artist Member and Wisconsin/Illinois co-representative.

Known for incorporating recycled materials and fabric manipulation into her work continues to explore new techniques while sharing her creativity through teaching, lecturing, and exhibiting.
