Our August Artist of the Month is Renee Louise Waters!
“Renee looks at art as a form of therapy—healing for the mind, soul, and even the body. Her body holds many thoughts and fears, but when she paints, she feels free, alive, and at peace. Often incorporating old, found objects from around her city into her paintings, she’s reminded of where she’s come from—her roots.
She paints to release, to forget the hatred and sorrow so many carry. With each brushstroke, she asks for forgiveness and healing for all of mankind. She feels healing in her hands and longs to share it with the world.”
Renee is also a Massage Therapist, Naturopath, Yoga Instructor, Face Painter, and private meditative painting instructor based in Fond du Lac, WI. Known as The Country Doctor since 1984, she has dedicated her life to natural healing and creativity.
