Our Cause on Monday, August 21st is Ripon Noon Kiwanis!
The Ripon Noon Kiwanis and Ripon Early Bird Kiwanis clubs are raising money for a new ADA accessible playground at Riggs County Park. The clubs hope to provide $100,000 toward the estimated $300,000 project, with the balance to be provided by Fond du Lac County.
The play space will include a motion cruiser, which accommodates two wheelchairs and up to 12 users; a Brava universal swing, which allows independent transfer by providing a stable to-fro movement and a large transfer area; a Volta spinner with 19-inch seat height for wheelchair transfer with capacity for up to nine children; a swing seat designed to be used with a parent and child together; and a single-user inclusive-seat swing. In addition, activity panels and ramps are accessible to children in a wheelchair and the poured-in-place rubberized surface will help ensure the safety of park users.
Join us and help raise money for the playground at Riggs Park!
See you August 21st!
