Our Artist Uncorked for the month of July is Sarah Ninnemann Art&Photography LLC!

Sarah's bio:

I am a self-taught Artist born and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. I have enjoyed creating art as far back as I can remember. I've always had a tendency to daydream. My inspirations come from my imagination, dreams, and love for nature. I have always been one to observe fine details and find joy in the many bright colors that are found in everyday life. I am an animal lover and find patterns of fur and feathers as well as the anatomy of creatures very intriguing. Some of my favorite mediums to work with are inks, pastels, acrylics, oils, watercolors, and photography.

I do work in several types of mediums since I am always eager to learn new techniques that can aid in my creations. I use my camera as a tool to capture what I want others to see in life that many overlook. I especially favor photographing: birds, animals, trees, and insects. I have branched out into portrait and wedding photography as well. Photography is fantastic for capturing memories of life events to look back on in the future. I believe art is very therapeutic. I believe we can learn a lot from nature and should respect all forms of life. I find nature to be art itself.

My goals are to continue creating art for myself and others and to help encourage others to use art as an outlet for emotions and understanding. I believe everyone should use some form of art as therapy and healing of one's true self.

Not only am I an artist and photographer, I work full-time in the Insurance Industry which was a recent career change from the former 19 years of Healthcare experience that I worked as a Registered Medical Assistant and prior to that as a Medical Receptionist. I have over 23 years of experience in a variety of retail, office, and healthcare positions.

My compassion and empathy for all living things help me see the world in a different way through my camera and my art. I share my love of nature with my husband and five dogs near Campbellsport, Wisconsin. We live in the country, and being surrounded by wildlife and trees helps stem my creativity. I love to support local animal rescues through volunteering time and donating supplies and raffle items.
