Lynn Artz , another local artist, is the featured presenter for our "Artist Uncorked" event throughout the month of February.

She graduated from UW-Green Bay with a B.A in Graphic Design emphasis in Integrated Communications and a Minor in Art. Lynn’s passion has become watercolors.  She loves the freshness and spontaneity of the medium along with the challenges it presents, particularly when painting outdoors. As an avid gardener she always has inspiration around her.  Lynn continues to hone her skills and learn new techniques by taking classes.

Vivid color is always important in her work, whether she is painting people, landscapes, umbrellas, flowers, boats or whatever inspires her. Although she sticks to watercolor painting these days, she does enjoy using a variety of types of paper including traditional hot and cold press papers and YUPO, a synthetic paper. She also experiments with different processes.

Even if she doesn't use a newly learned technique in her work, she enjoys the process of trying something outside her comfort zone.

Lynn currently lives in Neenah and participates in several Art Fairs throughout the summer.
